Hello my name is Jeremy Holzapfel. In 2008 I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma cancer and I spent 3 years battling it. In 2010 I received a bone marrow transplant from my sister Heather, which save my life. In the process I had some side effects from the transplant and the radiation treatments and now I have to have $40,000 in dental work done in the next 18 months. I thought my insurance would be able to cover the work, but it fell under my dental insurance which only helps with $2,000 in insurance payments per year. The procedures are not covered under my medical insurance.
So as time is of the essence. I came up with the idea for "Teeth Shirts". Since I am an artist, when I'm not crafting drinks and managing at Starbucks in Fremont, Seattle, I decided to take advantage of my art skills and design cool Teeth Shirts to sell in order fund the work I need to have done.
Well that's basically the situation. Come check out my campaign on Teespring.com/Teethshirts. I hope you get to be one of the few people that get a piece of my art that they can where and show off. My Teespring campaign runs through August 4th. So come check it out.
- Love, Jeremy Holzapfel
Come check out my Teeth Shirts on sale until August 4th.

It is too bad that this procedure didn't fall in either of your insurance plans. Perhaps it was quite rare from the outset, or that it wasn't offered in any plan at all. While that is unfortunate, at least you more than made up for it by making these cool shirts. In this way, people are not just helping you, but you're giving them awesome shirts in exchange. I hope your insurance company does find a way to include your dental bill, though. Take care!
